I have seen worse DVD parody movies, sadly. There were some genuine laugh out loud moments in the film, but not enough. I am trying to decide if I would recommend this movie to other people...hmmm. Okay...yes, but only under limited circumstances. #1 The person must already like stupid movies. #2 The person should be in a goofy mood and finally #3 The person should consider chemical enhancement, like drinking. It will improve the film greatly. Maybe, 2 out of 5 stars, if that helps.

Geek Roundtable has been updated this week and will be updated again at the end of June. Each podcast gets better as we figure out what the heck we are doing.  Eventually Ned will get the podcasts onto iTunes or someplace like that. Until then the website has blog posts and MP3 links to download.

She is still not out of the house, but she is doing super!  I keep reminding her to not push herself. She wants to just get up and go like before. My Mother bowled every week, plus 1 or 2 times extra a month. She drove herself to the store some of the time. She drove with me the rest of the time. She would take senior bus trips and go to Church meetings. I have gone over to see her every day even if it is just for 30 minutes.  She still is not allowed to talk too long on the phone. I give her a new pile of DVD's every few days. I know she is bored, but I don't want her to get winded.

"Sabrina of Atash Maya" was doing a special performance at Dreamgirls. Going to see a belly dancer at a strip club was intriguing. 3 of us were to meet at the 9:00p.m. show, because Wednesday is a school night. When Chris & I arrived we found more than a few people that we knew. I had never been to a strip club and it was nicer than I had envisioned. It reminded me of a small night club, but on the main stage there happened to be a bright shiny pole. I think Pole Dancers are awesome. The strength and flexibility needed is truly athletic. The average dancer just uses the pole to swing around or grind on, but the Pole Dancers are serious. While we were waiting for Sabrina to hit the stage several other ladies danced. There were 3 dancers and 3 Pole Dancers. One of the Polers was a tall woman with long dark hair. Her hair seemed to float as she smoothly glided around the pole. Another Poler was a black woman who was very flexible. (This made Chris sad...NOT!) I also found out that they wear a string bikini-type undie that is smaller than I thought possible!! No one was totally naked.
Sabrina made her grand entrance and did 2 full dances. One was more traditional and the other was almost Techno. It was fascinating to watch. SHE was fascinating to watch. The other dancers even stopped what they were doing around the club just to watch Sabrina. In the car on the way home Chris agreed that I should take belly dancing classes...in my free time. HA.
There are YouTube videos of the troupe and just her. These are links to a completely different dance, but feel free to look her up yourself- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrrzdzWEax0

No spoilers. Before I give my review I have to make a slight snippy remake to other reviewers out there. When a person does not like Adam Sandler, they probably should NOT go to an Adam Sandler movie. Drama or comedy will not matter if you do not dig him...so please do not complain to the world about it.
I think Adam Sandler is a clever man. I love Happy Gilmore and Spanglish. Zohan is a crazy movie. It is a tree full of nuts & squirrels! I laughed so hard I almost peed! The 3 of us enjoyed it greatly. Go ahead and see it, you can pay full price!
