I was asked to elaborate on the 30 year old comments I made previously.
I said, "Life Lessons: Beware of 30 yr olds who Never moved out and still live at home. Beware of 30 yr olds with no car. This isn’t New York, transit sucks here."
This was a blending of mine & several people's life stories. It is a character flaw. An obvious pattern turned up and I wrote it down. In truth having no car is not always the problem. Taking the Bus does not make a person a looser in anyway shape or form. A long time ago I was annoyed was with a guy who had a broken down car. He did not seem to be planning to fix the car...ever. It ran okay and that was all he required. It seemed like a personality flaw to me. He was willing to settle for less. I understand crappy cars. We had the Saturn Lemon and we hated it! At certain stages in most people's lives they stop accepting things the way they used to. There are lots of things I would have done or put up with at 20 years old that I will not tolerate at 40.
I have car issues anyway. I must have been like Wimpy begging for a burger in a past life, because I have spent this life driving around the free world!
