When I went to make my 2008 Live Journal account I tried to use my old name from 2005. I had closed out the account days after I opened it because I had my own site to blog on. I did not feel I needed two places to blab. The silly irony is that even though marysgarage is my name and I am the one who started it in the first place I cannot use it...unless I pay a $15 fee. Aunt Mary called me out of the blue to ask if I had paid the Insurance bill? Huh? I did not know. What insurance? Car or House? Why?  Someone called her and said it was her last chance to pay up. I asked Who? She did not get the name of the Person, the Company or the phone number. Once again I reminded her to ALWAYS get the name and number of a caller so that I could take care of it for her. If someone is upsetting her, she needs to give me the information to solve the problem.
She was still upset so I asked her what her checkbook said? She said, WHAT? I gave her careful step-by-step directions as loudly as possible. #1 Take out your checkbook. #2 Read the entries in the checkbook to see if any of them say Insurance. #3 See if any of them say Allstate or Metlife? She calmed down and I could hear her moving around. I heard muttering, a drawer opening and then she hung up.

I was asked to elaborate on the 30 year old comments I made previously.
I said, "Life Lessons: Beware of 30 yr olds who Never moved out and still live at home. Beware of 30 yr olds with no car. This isn’t New York, transit sucks here."
This was a blending of mine & several people's life stories.
It is a character flaw. An obvious pattern turned up and I wrote it down. In truth having no car is not always the problem. Taking the Bus does not make a person a looser in anyway shape or form.  A long time ago I was annoyed was with a guy who had a broken down car. He did not seem to be planning to fix the car...ever. It ran okay and that was all he required. It seemed like a personality flaw to me. He was willing to settle for less. I understand crappy cars. We had the Saturn Lemon and we hated it! At certain stages in most people's lives they stop accepting things the way they used to. There are lots of things I would have done or put up with at 20 years old that I will not tolerate at 40.
I have car issues anyway. I must have been like Wimpy begging for a burger in a past life, because I have spent this life driving around the free world!
